Very good place. I live in downtown Memphis near Yao's and make this my go to place when I am in a rush. Food has always been great and when I have a pick up order, it's always ready very fast. Staff is always very nice.The only downside is that since most of their business is during lunch and take-away during the evenings, they don't have much staff to give adequate service for dine-in. I don't fault them for this, as it's good to have a full server staff for only a few dine-in patrons.But overall, this place is amazing and I definitely recommend.

We always order Yaos, even after trying every Chinese resteraunt that delivers to us. It's always amazing. Tonight, we had a small get together and got the opportunity to try more than just our usuals. Amazing. Keep up the good work guys! Everything from the food to the awesome delivery guy who even calls a little bit ahead, just to let us know that he is on his way. Thank you!

Such a Gr8888888 & Awesome place to eat, The Owner & His family are very Polite & they also make sure that your order is Correct. Delivery Service is gr888 too.Always love eating here. This is why i Voted for them in the Memphis Flyer.

Ordered delivery with entree and appetizer. Checked off white rice to come with my entree on the online delivery. Got no rice (which makes the meal for me). Called to let them know I did not receive the rice. They told me it comes with all entrees except the one I ordered. How convenient! And interesting since the order form asked me what type of rice I wanted.

so I just moved here from Los Angeles and I have ordered 3-4 times and like the food. I dont find it greasy at all, in fact the crab rangoons are the best I've ever had: crunchy, not greasy or limp and very tasty. They also have a very nice fish tank in the restaruant and the fish had babies, so I had enterainment while waiting for my takeout.

Amazing place for Chinese in Memphis. One of only two Chinese restaurants in town worth mentioning, the other being Mulan. I've only been there twice but each time was an experience. The noodles and fried rice... yum.

I needed a quick bite to eat during an overnight work load. I definitely didn't walk away disappointed. The food was hot, tasted quite fresh, and was ready quickly. It wasn't "WOW" but I'll most definitely be ordering again soon.

Excellent service, even on Christmas night! I got the dinner special/combo. It was a great value and really delicious. Everything was fresh. Crab Rangoon was great!

Wangs is probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in Memphis, and I think many Memphians would agree. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are extremely flavorful. The best thing though? The lunch buffet! $6.99 for a plethora of Chinese favorites, such as spicy chicken and beef and broccoli. Everything was hot and well stocked. The hot and sour soup was delicious! Also, we were in and out in around 20 minutes. The service isn't fantastic, but that's pretty normal. If you want to chat with your waitress about the weather, then this isn't the place for you. If you want tasty Chinese food in a nice setting, check out Wangs and enjoy being a Fat American at that lunch buffet.

Wangs is now Yao's, we need to start calling it by the new name as we are confusing visitors. I met some of the confused ones on the trolley today. Mr. Yao is very nice. My take out meal was very tasty and I'm sure I'll be back. Healthier options is a good choice for me. I'd like to hear some feedback from someone who has tried the lunch buffet. Make sure you put reviews over on TripAdvisor to out of towners can find this place.

OMG, I WAS TRAVELING THRU FROM CHICAGO ON MY WAS TO MISSISSIPPI AND I STOPPED AT WANG'S IN MEMPHIS TN ON MAIN STREET AND IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I HAD MADE THAT DAY LOL THE FOOD WAS TO DIE FOR! IT WAS GREAT. HANDS DOWN IT WAS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I EVER HAD. MY SON N I ORDERED THE SWEET N SOUR SHRIMP AND SHRIMP LO MEIN...I DON'T KNOW WUT THOSE NOODLES WERE COOKED IN BUT THEY WERE PACKED WITH FLAVOR!!! MAKES ME WANNA FLY TO MEMPHIS FOR DINNER THIS EVENING....LOL THANK YOU GOD FOR WANG'S!!! ALSO IT WAS A NICE VIBE, MUSIC PLAYIN IN THE BACK GROUND , BAR AREA, EXTREMLY CLEAN. Deliver to American Yeast Sales - go to the door next to the delivery dock, right next to the big green dumpster. We are right next door to the waste management facility.Please bring extra soy sauce. Thanks.

Was lucky enough to have lunch at this place during my visit to Memphis. I have to say, the curry was AMAZING! I haven't had a proper curry since moving to the USA, and this was just like the curry I used to have in Ireland. I just wish I didn't live so far away because now I'm dying to have another great curry! Thanks for the great food!Ian

The dumplings (both Hunan and the steamed) are to die for. The hot and sour soup was plentiful and excellent flavor. I did Wangs Lo Mein one night and a battered fried chicken the other, I enjoyed the Lo Mein better. It was delivered to my hotel door. The only downside was it took 1 hour and 15 minutes the first time and 20 minutes the second time. I was surprised when I heard a knock on the door 20 minutes after calling.

After sitting in a cold office, watching the clock till it hits lunch time, I love visiting Wang's and getting food off of their lunch buffet. I normally hate buffets, but Wang's puts out small quantities so that when you go get food, it is always fresh. So AWESOME!! And their Hot and Sour soup is my favorite ever!! When I don't get a chance to go, I order their lunch specials for delivery. They are so fast. The food is so fresh when it gets to you, it's almost as if you are eating it in the restaurant. Makes all of my coworkers who don't order with me jealous :) You all should def try this place out!!!! You won't be sorry, I guarantee it!
